April was anything but quiet at Joanne Gore Communications.
While much of the world seems to be searching for footing, grappling with changing markets and shifting budgets, JGC doubled down on what we do best: showing up, sharing knowledge, and helping businesses grow.
Whether it was navigating a crowded expo floor or speaking to rooms packed to the brim, we embraced the chaos — and thrived in it. All while keeping our eyes on the goal: helping the print industry sell more print.
Three cities. Five powerhouse sessions. Countless conversations. One unstoppable team.
And we’re not done yet. Next stop, Dscoop!
Here’s how it all unfolded, so far. ↓
Toronto’s International Centre became our home base for three jam-packed days as Graphics Canada 2025 returned with full force from April 9–11. More than a print show, it was a pulse check on the Canadian landscape, full of innovators trying to find their footing amid automation, AI, and evolving customer expectations.
For Joanne Gore, who delivered a keynote and multiple educational sessions, this year felt different. There was an urgency in the air. A collective desire to learn not just what’s next, but how to prepare for it.
We had cameras rolling, notebooks open, and a front-row seat to the industry’s next chapter.
We’ll be featuring highlights in an upcoming photo recap, including candid, behind-the-scenes moments that really captured the vibe and intensity of this bi-annual event.
Just a few weeks later, Joanne headed to Miami, FL., for Konnections 2025—an event powered by Kornit Digital, built around partnerships, possibilities, and the power of showing up in person. Joanne’s presentation tackled one of today’s biggest marketing challenges: holding attention in a world full of distractions.
Blink and they’re gone. If website visitors can’t tell what you do and why it matters in under 5 seconds…they will leave.
For JGC, Konnections was also a reminder: real business still happens in rooms like these, where trust is built through one-on-one conversation.
While technically a May event, we can’t talk about momentum without a nod to what’s coming next: DScoop Edge Long Beach, taking place May 14–17. BONUS: Attendees who register with code JGC4B2B will receive a complimentary copy of Joanne’s book: Thriving in Chaos: Lessons Learned from a Corporate Marketer.
The overarching mission is all part of a bigger push to help brands think differently about how they connect, communicate, and convert—especially in complex B2B cycles.
On the heels of her live appearances, Joanne also kicked off the month with a new blog for WhatTheyThink! The article, titled “Web-to-Print in 2025: From Hesitation to Acceleration” dives into the evolution of Web-to-Print and what’s really driving adoption in 2025.
What used to be a simple storefront has become an end-to-end growth engine, and she has seen firsthand how hesitant the print industry can be when it comes to digital transformation. If you’ve ever wondered why W2P still feels stuck for some printers (and what’s finally shifting that mindset), give this one a read (WTT subscription required).
Momentum doesn’t stop when the booths come down. JGC is keeping the conversations going with three new virtual sessions designed to tackle some of the most pressing questions facing marketers and business leaders today.
